Doorways, beds, desks, car seats, airline rows, shower heads: almost everything is designed around a typical body. If you’re tall, you spend part of every day working around it. MadeTall exists to make that easier.
What we do
We write practical, sourced guides to the things that decide whether something fits: front headroom and legroom, seat pitch, mattress length, inseams, counter heights. We build tools like the car finder to make the numbers easier to use. And where we keep finding that nothing on the market fits, we plan to make it ourselves.
How we work
- Every number has a source. If we print a measurement, we link where it came from, so you can check it.
- Nothing is sponsored. Nobody pays to be in an article, and if something doesn’t fit, we say so.
- We say how we make money. Some links may earn us a commission. It never changes what we recommend, and it’s all on the disclosure page.
- We fix mistakes. Specs change. If you spot a number that’s wrong or out of date, tell us and we’ll correct it.
Who’s behind it
MadeTall is written by CM Kennedy, a tall founder based in Pittsburgh who has spent most of his life ducking through doorways. Before MadeTall, he spent fifteen years in technology and design at companies including Google and WeWork, and co-founded RobeCurls, a consumer brand that reached national retail.
