What we collect
When you join the list, we keep:
- your email address,
- the date and time you signed up,
- which signup form you used (for example, the homepage or a guide),
- the country your connection came from, as reported by our hosting provider.
When you just read the site, we don’t ask for anything. We don’t run advertising or analytics cookies, and we don’t build a profile of you. Like every website, our hosting provider handles basic technical data needed to serve and secure the pages, such as your IP address and browser type.
Why we collect it
To send you what you signed up for: new guides and first access to Made Tall goods. The signup details also help us see which pages bring people to the list. That’s it.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t share it with advertisers. We use a few service providers to run the site, and they only handle your data to provide that service:
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores the signup list.
- An email service provider sends our emails, when we send them. Your email address and signup details are stored there too.
We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Links to other sites
Our guides link to outside sources and stores. Once you leave madetall.com, that site’s own privacy policy applies. Some of those links may be affiliate links; see our disclosure.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe anytime with the link at the bottom of any email.
- See, correct or delete what we hold about you: email hello@madetall.com and we’ll take care of it.
We keep your signup until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Children
Made Tall is written for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we’ll delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll tell the list by email.
